Óbidos, Portugal
The name "Óbidos" probably derives from the Latin term oppidum, meaning "citadel", or "fortified city". Rua Direita is the main street of the town and also the one that attracts most visitors. Historically, Rua Direita and Rua Nova have been the main streets of this dynamic and mesmerizing town and the quickest ways to reach the castle.
