It is a Gothic, Catholic Cathedral on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité in the fourth arrondissement of Paris, France.
Victor Hugo used it as the primary setting of his legendary novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, as it is used in all films based on the novel.

I saw Notre Dame again this summer and loved it even more than my first visit. The climb to the top and the close encounters with the gargoyles were amazing.
Totally agree that it gets even better the next time we look at it 😉 The view from the top of the towers is absolutely breathtaking and definitely my favourite from Paris =)
