I ended up making this tonight instead–and it was DELICIOUS! Smooth, creamy and rich. Very easy to make. My daughter made a vegetarian version using soft tofu instead of the wurst–she liked it, but I though it lacked the rich flavor of the wurst. Next time I thik that I will use unsalted butter though.
Yes, you may substitute for unsalted butter =) I’ve never thought of that tofu version, but it sounds promising too!
My daughter is going through a “pescatarian” phase. She only eats vegatarian foods and sometimes she will eat fish. She often substutes tofu for meat. I’m not a fan of it, but I’ve also been called a little carnivore because I love meat.
Ahahah “pescatarian” is a pretty cool word. I also really enjoy meat, even if the ocasional vegetarian incursions may be interesting =)
I’m going to make this tonight! Looks delicious. Thanks for sharing.
Let us know how it turned out, then 😉
