Por muito que digam “Nunca mais”, infelizmente, vemos isto todos os dias… não com esta dimensão, mas todos os dias… é ver a situação actual para o Médio Oriente, pegando apenas neste “pequeno” lugar
Sorry…… Dachau…. the mentality behind it, the suffering, and the misuse of power is going on today in full swing. All the conversation about the holocaust has done nothing to stop man’s inhumanity to man. In China, Africa, Latin America, India, even in the USA and Europe people are still being tortured, slaughtered, and abused for the political purposes of the powerful.
I have visited Dachau too…. I too was horrified….. But I have never gone to a place where these abuses continue today and tried to intercede for another human being. I may send money to charities and brag about my membership in Amnesty International, but I ,like milllions of other “talkers”, have never been a “Shindler” , or a “Mandela” and that is why Dachau is just one in a series of examples of just how horrible mankind can be and always will be.

I went there twice when I was stationed in Germany.
