Douro, Portugal
Even though Portugal is a relatively small country, it offers a diverse array of cultural and landscape images. Every 50 Km – maybe even less – there’s something new to observe or some new tradition to learn. The Douro River is one the main attractions in the North of Portugal and it truly deserves this status as its beauty, charm and grace are remarkable.

Uma agradável visita a encantadora Portugal…
Um dia ainda vou conhecer Portugal, amo suas história, seu povo e as paisagens lindas que já vi. Sou Brasileira, mas vivo em USA e gosto muito de visitar seu blog..
Three weeks ago I was to Portugal for several days. I visited Lisbon, as usually, and Coimbra. Although the weather was not very good I enjoyed the visit very much: because of nice country, which is really something special and especially because of my friend… I already miss them 🙂
Thanks for visiting my blog! In December 2009, my boyfriend & I arrived in Porto with a Lonely Planet Portugal in our backpacks, rented a car and made up a trip that brought us up into the mountains of Sintra and Monchique, along the beautiful Algarve coast and to historic towns like Evora. We also ate too much bacalhau! There’s so much to discover and we hope to return : )
Como português é claro que adoro a foto 🙂
You know you’re tugging at my heart strings with this one, Ana!
I happen to love Portugal, especially the grapes. My wife’s grandmother owns a small vineyard, and I can’t find grapes anywhere in America to match the taste. Looking forward to more articles. Check out my blog if you can, I will be writing about the seeds I planted from her grapes soon.
Oh I’m sure you won’t find the grapes that taste like Portugal. Those are one of a kind … 😀 Thanks for visiting!
visiting your blog is like traveling the world :), beautiful

I super super love the way the hill is shaped, One could sit under that tree and write all day or just enjoy the view 🙂
