Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could travel to a past decade? Wouldn’t it be fun to be able to experience the fashion, food and music from the past? I think it would! Consequently, today we’re about to travel to the 30s with a vintage twist! All we have to do is find the right place and be creative.
Most of the decade was consumed by an economic downfall called The Great Depression that had a traumatic effect worldwide and meanwhile authoritarian regimes emerged in several countries in Europe such as Hitler in Germany, Mussolini in Italy, Salazar in Portugal, Franco in Spain or Stalin in the URSS. There was also a proliferation in new technologies, including intercontinental aviation, radio, and film and, consequently, the giant Zeppelin airship is one of the iconic images of this decade. It was 243 metres long and it took 68 hours to reach Recife, Brazil from Germany.

How to do this today? Como conseguir isto hoje?

My parents were both born in 1935, I think it would be cool to visit that era but more so, the 40’s!
Imagine, If folks from the old days were to realize that we made so much advancement on the zeppelin that we are using it to this day. Would be something wouldn’t it? that photo of adolf hitler though? wow timeless!
I don’t think I’d like to visit the 1930s. Too much bad stuff happening. But thanks for the thought-provoking post!
