Brooklyn Bridge, NYC, USA

Suggested by Suzanne, the Brooklyn Bridge was Completed in 1883 and it connects the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River.

Sydney Harbour Bridge, Australia

Also Suggested by Suzanne, The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district and the North Shore.

Igualmente sugerida por Suzanne, The Sydney Harbour Bridge tem um arco em aço e está aberta ao trãnsito ferroviário, veículos, bicicletas e peões ligando a zona empresarial central de Sydney ao North Shore.

Solkan Bridge, Slovenia

Suggested by Sebastijan Videc, the Solkan Bridge is a 220-metre long stone bridge over the river Soča near Nova Gorica in western Slovenia. It was built in the time of the Secession, between 1900 and 1905, and officially opened in 1906.

Sugerida por Sebastijan Videc, a Ponte Solkan é uma longa ponte de pedra sobre o rio Soca perto de Nova Gorica, no oeste da Eslovénia. Foi construída na época da “Secession”, entre 1900 e 1905, e inaugurada oficialmente em 1906.

Ben Thomas is a tilt-shift photographer, which constitutes a method that shortens the field of depth. Ben then carefully adjusts colour and the result is a photograph that looks like a miniature model. The City Skrinker Project has been a huge success so far and you can take a look at his work at his website. And here you’ve got my favourites!

With a distinctive atmosphere and a low-rise tropical old world charm, Port Douglas is famous specially for the 4 Mile Beach which is known to be a great place to see the sunrise.
