Saint Julian
Until about 200 years ago, this region was nothing but a cluster of fisherman’s houses and one lone palace. It was only after the British took over that it started prospering into a seaside village and then, eventually a resort town.

I lived in Malta last year. It is a great place to live as well as visit. They have an excellent public bus system and medical facilities. It’s very safe (I lived mostly on my own) and you can go out at any time of night. I miss it! I live in Lagos, Nigeria now where it is very different.
