I don’t know if it’s because of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet or even due to the amazing images the film Letters to Juliet showed me. What I do know is that this one has a very special place in my list.

You should pack up and go! I’ve also been once and loved it! (although it was a shame because the Arena was closed by the time we got there-so I should return one day too!:) ). Besides the whole Romeo & Julia thing, it’s totally worth it to get yourself lost in the narrow little streets..they are very atmospheric and romantic

I wish to visit Verona too…mostly because they shot parts of the movie “Letters to Juliet”. So that I can write my own letter to Juliet.
Lovely images of Verona. Brought back some great memories of my one and only visit to this city. I especially like the fifth, ninth and last shots. Nice angle looking up to Juliet’s balcony.

Yes, you have to visit Verona and also some other towns there around, relatively
close to Verona, like Florence. That part of Italy is very nice and being there in
those historical towns is a great feeling
I’ve been to Florence once and I absolutely loved it
I have only visited Verona one, and briefly, but your photos made me remember that I want to go back.
